What is the best beach to view fireworks from a distance in Santa Clara/Santa Cruz county area?

Maybe watching them from across the water. We are in the South Bay; within driving distance to Monterey or Santa Cruz (or anything in between). Not looking to set off fireworks ON the beach, just to view them from a distance. We are just looking for an unobstructed view of a good show in the area.
