How popular is too popular for you when choosing a name?

I don't have a particular preference, but rather I don't like it when my favorite names rise in popularity over the years. I like classic names, which are generally in the top 100, like Katherine, Sarah, and Elizabeth, but most of my favorite middle names are below 250 on the chart.
