Trouble with age, and parent...?

Im in 7th grade, and the boy I like is in 9th. Middle school, and highschooler. He likes me back to.. hes not the type of kid who just wants sex 24/7 either, he just randomly said one day he is going to be a virgin for a long time. but try explaining that to my dad.. I told my mom i like a 9th grader, and im like i knew she would understand but my dad would be like " well when i was a kid, if you liked a 7th grader while you were in 9th than....." what do I do :/ i wanna tell him but he will flip the freak out..
