Music for my ipod?? (major music freak) ?

I love music. Pretty much anykind. But I just don't know what to add onto my new iPod. There are some types I hate like Kesha, taio Cruz. Pitbull, idunno just alll those cheesy music artist if you know what I mean kind hat all those pop artist. I really love rock and metal to and some techno. Oh and I have this major thing for kid cudi :) any ideas on why kind of music, albums, music artist or songs I should add to my iPod.
