University of oregon or uc santa cruz?

i love college sports atmosphere and the whole school pride thing. ive never been to either place and i have to make a decision before i visit either one. i dont really have a reason to go to oregon except for the sports experienance. financially as a resident of cali the financial aid is way better at santa cruz. oregon is asking me to pull out over 30 000 in loans per year. santa cruz is offereing almost everything in grants for me. what should i do ; ive always dreamed of going to university of oregon , i love the ducks and its been my dream to be a duck ! what are some things from each school i should know about please help me i actually SIR ed to both schools cus i couldnt make a decison i will cancel one admission this week i have to though pleae help me
